NFSC’s vision is to create a community where every child has access to education, health services, shelter, clothing, adult supervision and a sense of belonging to a loving family. We plan to make this vision a reality by becoming a model to be replicated in other villages; supporting the community to take care of their own children. rather than sending them to orphanages making education and health care accessible to the orphans and other vulnerable children.

You have discovered Global Goods, a non-profit company dedicated to making a difference in the world one person at a time. As a teacher with a passion for people and different cultures, I have combined my interests to create Global Goods, a small, non-profit importing company specializing in fine silver jewelry, unusual purses, scarves, and unique items. Education can improve the quality of life for individuals, families, and villages. By supporting local artisans and selling their work at a fair price for both artists and consumers, we are able to generate monies to invest in education and essential community projects at a grassroots level. While Global Goods is not formally registered as a non-profit, 100% of the profits are returned to communities around the world.

Namugongo Fund for Special Children (NFSC) is a community based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Uganda, helping orphaned and other vulnerable children reach their full potential through education and other opportunities.NFSC was founded in 1986 caring for handicapped children in Namugongo and surrounding communities.
