projectThe SPARK Center at Boston Medical Center has worked with NFSC since 2002 to enhance levels of support for orphans and vulnerable children, particularly those affected by HIV/AIDS. Examples of their recent work include completing a cross-cultural knowledge exchange initiative, conducting a qualitative needs assessment in Uganda, presenting their joint work to academic and medical audiences at Boston University School of Medicine and Harvard School of Public Health. Griffin Family Foundation - launched TICKET to Success, SPARK’s job training and peer support program, at NFSC in Uganda. Rosette Serwanga traveled to Uganda for a month in Fall 2008 to engage in extensive strategic planning and coordination with the Ugandan and USA NFSC Boards in order to launch TICKET to Success for young people at NFSC.
